About this guide

Strength Without Restriction exists because recovering, feeding a baby and trying to feel strong again often get treated as a race. This programme takes the opposite view. Your recovery sets the pace. Meals stay regular. Strength returns through control, not through cutting everything back.

The guide is for breastfeeding mothers who want to lose weight gradually and rebuild strength without restriction. It is written for life with broken nights: short sessions, pelvic floor signals, and a meal pattern you can keep when the day does not go to plan.

It is not a substitute for personal care. If you have pain, leaking, heaviness or anything that worries you, speak with your GP or a pelvic health physiotherapist before you add load.
